Mobile banking is a service provided by a bank or other financial institution that allows its customers to conduct financial transactions using a device such as a smartphone or a tablet. It works through the app. Mobile banking is generally available on a 24-hour basis. But some financial institutions have restrictions on which accounts can be accessed through mobile banking, as well as limits on the amount that can be transacted.
Mobile banking reduces the cost of handling transactions by reducing the need for customers to visit a bank branch for non-cash withdrawal and deposit transactions. Mobile banking does not handle cash transactions and requires the customer to visit an ATM or bank branch to withdraw or deposit cash.
Mobile banking has simplified our financial operations by providing most of the banking-related services through mobile devices like smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc. The advent of mobile banking has made processes like money transfer, payment, balance inquiry, deposit, etc.
