Online Bank of India Bank Net Banking Registration Process
Internet banking, commonly known as a bank’s net banking facility, is a facility whereby a bank’s customers can do most of their banking transactions online without visiting the bank. Follow the steps given below to register online in Bank of India Net Banking:
Step 1. Visit the official website of BOI. [https://www.bankofindia.co.in/]
Step 2. Click on the Internet Banking section on the right side of the website and select Retail Banking.
Step 3. Once you click on the “New User Registration” link, you will be redirected to the self-registration page.
Step 4. Now enter the required details like account number, the mobile number registered for the ATM/Debit card linked to the account number, ATM/Debit card credentials, and account number, and submit.
Step 5. On successful submission, your User/Login ID and Reference Number will be displayed. Please save it for further records.
Step 6. An SMS will be sent by the Bank to your registered mobile number once your Net Banking login is activated.
Step 6. You can log on to BOI Net Banking after a period of 1 hour and start all transactions immediately.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Bank of India Net Banking [https://www.bankofindia.co.in/]
Step 2. After that click on Personal Banking
Step 3. Now a page will open in front of you where you have to click on ‘Forgot Password.
Step 4. On the next page, you have to enter the Internet Banking User ID and Account Number. After that click on ‘continue‘.
Step 5. On the next page enter Debit Card First Four Digit, Debit Card Last Four Digit, Debit Card PIN, and Card Expiry Date. Then click submit.
Step 6. On the next page, you will see four options:
- unlock user-id
- new login password
- Request a new transaction password
- Acknowledgment of transaction password

What do I do if I forget my password?
Download the Unblock / regenerate password form from our Website. (Home Page-> Internet Banking -> Retail -> Unblock / regenerate password). Fill in the details and submit them to our branch.
Is there any facility available to unblock/regenerate passwords online, without visiting the branch?
Yes. You can do unblock/Regeneration of password online if you are having a debit card linked to any A/c of the customer Id on which Internet banking is issued. Home Page-> Internet Banking -> Retail -> Forgot Password. Input the debit card credential for validation. On successful validation, you will get the following option-
I am getting the message “Invalid Login Id and Password”. What does it mean?
This message means either of the following –
- You are inputting an incorrect User ID / Login Password. OR
- Your user ID has been temporarily disabled due to successive attempts of the wrong password.

I have received only the Login password and not the Transaction Password?
- For security reasons, log-in and Transaction Passwords are sent on different dates on different covers. Hence, you may not get both passwords at the same time but after a time gap.
- You have only the View facility. Hence transaction password was not issued.
